Silver is capable of taking a high polish. Silver in its purest form is a soft, lustrous, white metal which is highly malleable and ductile. Silver has excellent lubricity properties. Silver plating can be applied to various base metals, the most common being brass, copper and even aluminium. Silver can be plated to the relevant BS or Aerospace specs/m2 or a customers individual specifcation.
