TIN

Bright or Dull Tin

Tin Electroplating provides a soft white metal finish which can be easily polished or scratchbrushed to provide a bright finish. Tin Electroplating is carried out as both bright and dull and is used widely as a protective coating on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Applications on tin plating are generally used in decorative or industrial settings.

Tin Plating of non-ferrous electrical and electronic components has a measure of protection against atmospheric corrosion and the tinning of articles as an aid to soft soldering.
