Zinc Cobalt plating offers greater corrosion protection over conventional zinc plating of the same thickness. Zinc Cobalt does not offer the same corrosion resistance as Zinc Nickel, but does have a lower operational cost. The coating can offer further corrosion protection by Olive Drab Passivation.
